List of Gratefuls!

It's not too late to post our Thanksgiving 'gratefuls' is it? Good, cuz I'm going to post them anyways :) I finally had time to sit down and do my blog stuff, not only post things but updated it and got it all decked out for Christmas! wahoo! :)

I saw this idea on a blog and liked it so much I want to do it too. :)

We have so much to be grateful for!

Gobble Gobble!

This year for Thanksgiving we decided to do something different and head up to Oregon to be with some family from Tim's side. We had a BLAST! All except the ride home, but I don't even want to talk about that except for 18 hours is way too long to be in a car and can make a person go crazy. Faith did great! It was I who was the crazy one. LOL :)

I'm much better today I promise :) The drive was totally worth it to see our family, they are some of THEE coolest people I know, I love them all! Everyone did a great job in helping cook the food, it all tasted heavenly!
I got talked into going shopping for Black Friday. I asked Tim if he wanted to come and he said 'I don't know, do I want to come?' I said 'yes you do'. He said ok and came. hah I was not expecting him to come, but he did and we actually had fun and got some fun stuff! We left at midnight and got back at 5:30... crazy shoppers :)
They have an amazing home, it was like staying at a resort, there was always something to do!

Faith was so excited to see everyone, she couldn't stop talking about Oregon, driving there and everyone there...she names everyone there over and over....including the dog, Cocoa :) She had so much fun with her cousin Lucy. They played so well together, it was fun to see.

You see that flat tire below? Yea, so when we are about a half hour away from their place, we stop to fill up with gas and some trucker dude shows me our flat tire. Tim filled it up with air, when we got closer we stopped to check it and it was getting flat again, we were going to fill it up but all the air pumps were frozen! Weird! So we drove on hoping it wouldn't completely pop underneath us :) We had just barely gotten new snow tires before we left. Tim went to go get it fixed and they found scissor tips in it, yikes! We tried to think of where that might have happened and we remembered the construction site we drove through right after we left our house.....if that's so, we were driving on that for almost 800 miles. Woa, someone was watching out for us. :)

I love these gals! We're missing 2 in the pix, but I love them all! Thanks for a great holiday weekend everyone!!

Turkey shirt

I just loved this shirt I found here, that I just had to copycat...what DON'T I copycat! haha
Someday I'm gonna start coming up with my own cute ideas like this.
You do the same thing as with the Halloween shirt I did, but she actually gives you a template to download to cut the fabric out with. I got these cute fabrics at Gardner's, of course, too fun!

Pretty cute huh!

But the cutest thing of all is this little girl! She's so stinkin' cute! Don't you love those boots?!?! I about died with giddiness when I saw them! ;)
I also about died with giddiness when I realized Thanksgiving is NEXT week! ahhhhhh
mmmmm.... Gobble Gobble! :)

Attitude of Gratitude: What I'm thankful for

A fun, inspiring lil clip for Thanksgiving.

Let's get into the Attitude of Gratitude....if you haven't, take a minute right now to ask yourself, What are YOU thankful for?

I am grateful for so much, I could make a whole list, but I don't know if there's enough cyber space for it all! =)

First and foremost, I'm extremely grateful for the church and to be part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love these little movie clips they put out, they are so inspiring and make you feel so good! I'm grateful for a living prophet to guide us in these last days.

• My family. I'm so comforted and happy to know that our family can be together forever. I love them so much and cherish every moment with them.

• Friends. I've always been blessed with incredible friends!

• Support. I've been realizing more and more how important it is to show your support to family and friends. so, I'm grateful for everyone who has supported me and my family...and ANY of my loved ones.

• Good health. This year has been extremely trying and stressful being sick so much. I'm always making sure to thank my Father in Heaven for good health every minute I can.

• Beautiful views. I'm in awe at God's creations.

• Being a mom. Our little girls are my greatest treasures.

• That my hubby has a great job, allowing me to be able to stay home with our children. This means so much to me.

• Food. I'm especially grateful that I don't have food allergies and can enjoy these in particular: Pomegranates, popcorn, milk chocolate, pizza, Italian food, Ice cream, cinnamon roasted almonds,

• Fingernails. I love a good back tickle.

• Rear ends. It's nice to be able to sit down and rest!

• Flowers. They can always cheer me up!

• Foundation- to cover up hideous zits.

• Baby toes....aren't they just the cutest EVER?!?!

• Baby laughs and smiles. You'd have to be pretty hard hearted to not feel good by these!

• My talents. I'm grateful for the talents I've been blessed with especially when I'm able to help others while doing so.

• Talents of others. I'm also grateful for everyone else's talents. I have benefited greatly by many. It's amazing how creative some people are!

• Light. I hate the dark.

• Hoodies. Who doesn't like getting all cuddly and bundled up in a nice, warm. soft hoodie!

•Cars. I would've made an awful pioneer. I'm very grateful we have working cars (and that I have my own) that get us to places much faster than walking.

• Water. Nothing quenches your thirst like a nice cup of cold water!

• Christmas music. It gives me warm fuzzies and makes me Happy!

• Technology. It's AMAZING what we can do nowadays compared to 10-15 years ago. I'm excited to see the advances in the future.

• Comfy, soft, warm bed...which is where I'm headed now for some MUCH needed rest!

Obviously, this is just a tiny, minuscule part of my Thankful list, but are some of the most important to me. I wish everyone a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!! Enjoy all the yummy food and special time with your loved ones!
